About the School
The Kilmer is a multi-campus school. To view a map of both campuses click here.
The Kilmer is an academically rigorous school with an experienced, caring staff. We are one school in two buildings. K1-3rd grade students and two special needs classes (K0/K1 and K2-2) are in the original building. Our 4th-8th grade students and two special needs classes (3-5 and 4-8) are in a newly renovated school. All of our students learn reading and writing through whole class lessons, small groups, and individual work. The Kilmer is focused on high achievement for all students.
School Performance
Student performance data displayed below is from Next Generation MCAS results. For more data on schools, please visit the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) website. For schools with multiple campuses, the data below represents all schools in that network, not just the single school, unless otherwise noted. If data is not shown, it is not available for that school (e.g. the school might not serve any tested grades, or be too small to publicly release its scores).
IMPORTANT NOTE: DESE did not issue school, district, or state accountability determinations for the 2019-2020 school year due to the cancellation of state assessments and school closures related to COVID-19. As a result, there is no student performance data available from the state for school year 2019-2020.
